It is a blessing to have a skill that is needed and respected at a place like HIS. I am grateful that people have initiated such an important and needed service. Especially in these economic times, people need to stay healthy. God bless HIS and all those who make it possible.

An Essential Service: HIS Volunteers

HIS volunteers provide much of the foundation for our every day operations and success. A volunteer partnership with HIS can be the perfect avenue for connecting your gifts and talents with some of those who need them the most. We welcome volunteers within a range of skills and abilities and who bring an eagerness to serve. Volunteers work closely with HIS staff to provide the services, expertise and continuity that best benefit HIS patients and the HIS mission.

Volunteer scheduling is flexible and we work hard to accommodate a variety of timetables and availabilities. HIS volunteers serve weekly, one or more times per month or on an on-call basis. Volunteers who are able to make a commitment for a period of time provide the greatest benefit to the clinic. We have three categories of volunteers: health providers, clinical support and general support. Hopefully you will identify a volunteer opportunity within these areas. If not, please let us know. When you have a gift to share, we consider it our job to find a way to help you share it. Thank you for considering volunteer service with HIS. We look forward to hearing from you!
